To say you did not like peanut butter would be crazy….but to say you did not like Organic Teddie Peanut Butter would be ABSOLUTELY CRAZY! This Peanut butter is oh so fantastic my friends! Teddie Peanut Butter Co. was so generous to send me some of their peanut butter and share a review. Let me tell you, when it comes to peanut butter I am very picky. Mine has to be the perfect consistency and taste REAL, and Teddie Peanut Butter satisfied my needs. I was sent three options: all natural smooth, all natural chunky, and all natural with flaxseed. I am already getting excited to drizzle some on my morning oatmeal in the morning. This peanut butter is good enough to take a big ol’ spoon and pile it on. Bravo to Teddie All Natural Peanut Butter. Be sure to follow them on twitter and pick some up the next time you see it in your local grocery store😉
Yesterday I got an exciting package I had been waiting for from 479 Popcorn. If you have not heard of 479 Popcorn, let’s just say it may be some of the best I have ever had. I asked the company for a sampler box and received it in the mail and immediately opened every box to try right away. The flavors that came in the sampler box were ginger sesame caramel, black truffle white cheddar, madras coconut curry and cashews, pimenton de la vera, and chipotle caramel and almonds.
Every flavor was AMAZING, however my two favorite flavors were the ginger sesame caramel and black truffle white cheddar. Oh my gosh so yummy! These are definitely fun treats to send during the holidays to friends or family, or just to simply buy for yourself To order you package you can click http://www.479popcorn.com/index.html
I cannot even count the amount of batches i have made of these cookies. Seriously, best thing ever! I brought them up to Santa Clara last weekend and all of the girls loved them, and when I made them at home my brothers even liked them (even though they are healthy cookies). These are a delicious treat for the month of thanksgiving and there is no guilt when you eat
the whole batch a couple :)
Pumpkin Spiced Oatmeal Butterscotch Cookies

- 2 cups quick oats
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- ¾ tsp nutmeg
- ¾ tsp ground cloves
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature
- 3/4cup unpacked brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 6 tbsp canned pumpkin
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup butterscotch chips
Preheat oven to 375°; line two baking sheets with parchment paper or use a silpat. In a medium bowl, mix together the dry ingredients. In larger bowl mix together the wet ingredients. Slowly add dry ingredients to wet. Add butterscotch chips. Place rounded tablespoons of the cookie dough on sheets. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
If you are not a fan of butterscotch chips, then I am sure chocolate chips would taste just as amazing as well, and maybe adding in toffee pieces could spice it up!
Have you guys been hearing about the soda machine that makes 106 different soda combinations? Well i definitely have been hearing about it on my favorite blogs, such as pbfingers.com and sweettoothsweetlife.com and I have been dying to find one and try it! Well this last weekend I was lucky enough to go to Santa Cruz with some friends. Whenever I go to Santa Cruz, I have to hit up Pizza My Heart. It is the best Pizza in California. Almost as good as New York pizza:) Well when I walked into Pizza My Heart I found the soda machine! I was so excited and my friend actually made fun of me and how a soda machine made me so happy. As i searched through the selection you can make, there were a variety of sodas that you could add cherry, raspberry orange, vanille, lime, grape, and other flavors into your soda selection. I sampled every flavor. Two of my favorites were vanilla root beer and raspberry sprite zero. My friend got the peach sprite zero which was fabulous as well. I highly recommend Pizza My Heart, but now that it has this soda machine….i DEFINITELY recommend it!
Other than the amazing pizza and soda that i endured this weekend, the rest of my little getaway was amazing as well! I was in Santa Clara visiting my very close friend the first night and then I joined her and her friends and thats when we headed to the beach the second night. We stayed in a beautiful home and the weather was amazing! We even got into the water…with wet suits and boogie boarded for a while. It was an amazing weekend, with amazing friends, fun, and laughter.
You know those people who love to run marathons? well i may have become one after last weekend. Last sunday I ran my first half marathon. The race is put on by Nike and is for the fight against cancer. My friend Natalie and I signed up and went into it not really having been on a training plan…so we will just say we kinda winged it but we have always been runners. The Morning of I was very excited and not too nervous at all…however once we got to mile 5-7 i must admit I was a little scared, but it ended up being one of the greatest experiences I ever had. The most inspiring moment was when i saw those who were fighting or had survived cancer cheering us runners on. It was AMAZING.
This is Natalie and I the day before in Union square for all the pre-race activities. The day before was so much fun! A lot of free samples of snacks that were handed out during the race….plus some ghiradelli chocolate
Oh and did i mention all finishers get Tiffany’s necklaces??? A definite BONUS in running this marathon ladies! They even personalized them on the front it has NWM for NIkes Women Marathon and on the back it says “I run to be. Tiffany &CO.” It is such a cute necklace…I havent taken it off since the race!
After the race we went and got a post race meal at BRIXTON in SF which my sister and I had previously been to. I of course ordered the exact same thing as last time…French dip and sweet potato fries…YUM.
This day was one of the best experiences in my life. If you ever have a chance to run a half marathon that is for a good cause i would highly recommend it, and especially recommend the SF Nike Womens Half Marathon! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. I cannot believe we are already on our last week of october. I am watching Hocus Pocus as I am writing this blog…love this halloween movie! Read the rest of this entry
Oh My my….how is it already Friday? this week flew by!!! I feel like i cannot even catch up with how fast weeks go by. This friday has been going amazing so far! I started my morning with a little training for my half marathon which is already NEXT WEEKEND! is anyone else running womens nike half marathon in SF? ahh i cannot believe how fast it came! This morning I did a quick 5 mile run with my dad and I officially knew it was fall because it was FREEZING! It took a couple hours after the run to finally feel my fingers.
Now onto my Friday faves…
1) New running clothes for my half marathon. For some reason I get so excited for new workout clothes. First off they are always comfy and secondly, they never fit too weird like some of the crazy expensive name brand clothes. I had to choose pink in honor of supporting breast cancer and of course a little extra bonus since it is my favorite color
2) Fall Baking. My best friend and I make caramel apples every fall. They are called apple pie caramel apples. They are AMAZING and soooo delicious. Definitely a treat and these apples are not the kind that “keep the doctor away”
3) My final friday fave of course is Friday night football. I love watching my brothers play and the crisp, cold weather at night. I may not always know what is happening in the game, but the atmosphere of a football game always makes me happy.
Well now I am off to do my other favorite thing every Friday…read People Magazine:) happy friday!
Hello there! and happy Friday! ahhh finally….TGIF
this week has be stressful with a capital S! school and work every day and night and on top of that multiple essays and tests that I needed to study for. However, all stressful weeks come to a good end. Today was a very exciting day today. At my junior college there was a casting call for a show that will appear on the Food Network called Sushi Smackdown. Savvy Productions was at my school and interviewing college students and finding those who are outgoing and filled with leadership and marketing skills. I went to the casting call and was the first to be interviewed (on camera by the way) and it went great! It was an amazing experience and I truly feel like this is something I am skilled in. Obviously, I love the food network channel, but adding in the marketing and leaderships skills I knew I could conquer the interview. For more info go to sushismackdown.com and definitely check out the website and what it is all about. It is an amazing event and the show will be fantastic, especially for all you sushi lovers out there!
Other than that…here are my Friday faves:
1. Pumpkin Spice lattes
So happy these are back! after my run this morning I def enjoyed me one of these babies!
2. Bethenny on the Ellen Degenres Show
Hilarious episode! She talks all about her stranded at sea moment…hope you guys caught this episode!
3. Bagel Thins
Just bought the whole wheat kind…..YUM they are so good! especially if you put an egg white, some spinach, and laughing cow cheese…makes a perfect breakfast sandwich!
