To say you did not like peanut butter would be crazy….but to say you did not like Organic Teddie Peanut Butter would be ABSOLUTELY CRAZY! This Peanut butter is oh so fantastic my friends! Teddie Peanut Butter Co. was so generous to send me some of their peanut butter and share a review. Let me tell you, when it comes to peanut butter I am very picky. Mine has to be the perfect consistency and taste REAL, and Teddie Peanut Butter satisfied my needs. I was sent three options: all natural smooth, all natural chunky, and all natural with flaxseed. I am already getting excited to drizzle some on my morning oatmeal in the morning. This peanut butter is good enough to take a big ol’ spoon and pile it on. Bravo to Teddie All Natural Peanut Butter. Be sure to follow them on twitter and pick some up the next time you see it in your local grocery store 😉

Yesterday I got an exciting package I had been waiting for from 479 Popcorn. If you have not heard of 479 Popcorn, let’s just say it may be some of the best I have ever had. I asked the company for a sampler box and received it in the mail and immediately opened every box to try right away. The flavors that came in the sampler box were ginger sesame caramel, black truffle white cheddar, madras coconut curry and cashews, pimenton de la vera, and chipotle caramel and almonds.
Every flavor was AMAZING, however my two favorite flavors were the ginger sesame caramel and black truffle white cheddar. Oh my gosh so yummy! These are definitely fun treats to send during the holidays to friends or family, or just to simply buy for yourself 🙂 To order you package you can click http://www.479popcorn.com/index.html
Have you guys been hearing about the soda machine that makes 106 different soda combinations? Well i definitely have been hearing about it on my favorite blogs, such as pbfingers.com and sweettoothsweetlife.com and I have been dying to find one and try it! Well this last weekend I was lucky enough to go to Santa Cruz with some friends. Whenever I go to Santa Cruz, I have to hit up Pizza My Heart. It is the best Pizza in California. Almost as good as New York pizza:) Well when I walked into Pizza My Heart I found the soda machine! I was so excited and my friend actually made fun of me and how a soda machine made me so happy. As i searched through the selection you can make, there were a variety of sodas that you could add cherry, raspberry orange, vanille, lime, grape, and other flavors into your soda selection. I sampled every flavor. Two of my favorites were vanilla root beer and raspberry sprite zero. My friend got the peach sprite zero which was fabulous as well. I highly recommend Pizza My Heart, but now that it has this soda machine….i DEFINITELY recommend it!
Other than the amazing pizza and soda that i endured this weekend, the rest of my little getaway was amazing as well! I was in Santa Clara visiting my very close friend the first night and then I joined her and her friends and thats when we headed to the beach the second night. We stayed in a beautiful home and the weather was amazing! We even got into the water…with wet suits 🙂 and boogie boarded for a while. It was an amazing weekend, with amazing friends, fun, and laughter.
Oh My my….how is it already Friday? this week flew by!!! I feel like i cannot even catch up with how fast weeks go by. This friday has been going amazing so far! I started my morning with a little training for my half marathon which is already NEXT WEEKEND! is anyone else running womens nike half marathon in SF? ahh i cannot believe how fast it came! This morning I did a quick 5 mile run with my dad and I officially knew it was fall because it was FREEZING! It took a couple hours after the run to finally feel my fingers.
Now onto my Friday faves…
1) New running clothes for my half marathon. For some reason I get so excited for new workout clothes. First off they are always comfy and secondly, they never fit too weird like some of the crazy expensive name brand clothes. I had to choose pink in honor of supporting breast cancer and of course a little extra bonus since it is my favorite color 🙂
2) Fall Baking. My best friend and I make caramel apples every fall. They are called apple pie caramel apples. They are AMAZING and soooo delicious. Definitely a treat and these apples are not the kind that “keep the doctor away”
3) My final friday fave of course is Friday night football. I love watching my brothers play and the crisp, cold weather at night. I may not always know what is happening in the game, but the atmosphere of a football game always makes me happy.
Well now I am off to do my other favorite thing every Friday…read People Magazine:) happy friday!
Hello there! and happy Friday! ahhh finally….TGIF
this week has be stressful with a capital S! school and work every day and night and on top of that multiple essays and tests that I needed to study for. However, all stressful weeks come to a good end. Today was a very exciting day today. At my junior college there was a casting call for a show that will appear on the Food Network called Sushi Smackdown. Savvy Productions was at my school and interviewing college students and finding those who are outgoing and filled with leadership and marketing skills. I went to the casting call and was the first to be interviewed (on camera by the way) and it went great! It was an amazing experience and I truly feel like this is something I am skilled in. Obviously, I love the food network channel, but adding in the marketing and leaderships skills I knew I could conquer the interview. For more info go to sushismackdown.com and definitely check out the website and what it is all about. It is an amazing event and the show will be fantastic, especially for all you sushi lovers out there!
Other than that…here are my Friday faves:
1. Pumpkin Spice lattes
So happy these are back! after my run this morning I def enjoyed me one of these babies!
2. Bethenny on the Ellen Degenres Show
Hilarious episode! She talks all about her stranded at sea moment…hope you guys caught this episode!
3. Bagel Thins
Just bought the whole wheat kind…..YUM they are so good! especially if you put an egg white, some spinach, and laughing cow cheese…makes a perfect breakfast sandwich!
This past weekend I went down to San Francisco to finally stay with my sister in her new apartment. It was just a short one night trip, but we laughed at the end of my stay because we packed so much into one night and one day. During my stay we went out at night in the Marina District which is my all time FAVORITE part of San Francisco, whether day or night. During the day you can enjoy some fun shopping at adorable boutiques or your favorite brand name stores such as Lucky Brand Jeans, Williams Sonoma (my fav!) and when you need some fuel after all the shopping there are TONS of restaurants or quick food places. I have not tried all of the food places, but I have a list of where I want to go my next few visits. While I was there this weekend my sister and I went to the Tipsy Pig which was delicious and super fun! I recommend going if you ever want yummy bar food or if you are 21 and older to grab a drink (I still have a few more years to go). To check out the restaurant/bars menu you can click here http://thetipsypigsf.com/. I had fun dressing up like a “city girl” the night we went out, but I must admit heels were tough to walk in..
The next morning we went to church at a gorgeous church in the mission district. I love being in the city because of all the walking and in San Francisco there are hills everywhere so it almost feels like you are on a permanent stair stepper. After church we explored the Fairmont Hotel which is fabulous! It was one of the nicest hotels I have seen and they have a couple restaurants inside as well, one of them being The Tonga Room. My sister and I definitely are going back there next time I come. The whole menu is Hawaiian themed and the inside almost looks like it is out of the Tiki Room at Disneyland. Definitely go if you are ever in the mood for some island time in the city! After checking out the Tonga Room and hotel, our tummies were growling and we decided to get breakfast which turned into brunch. We headed to the Marina District (my choice since I am obsessed) and browsed the area for something that caught our eye. We chose the restaurant BRIXTON because as we walked by the food on the peoples plates eating outside looks so good!! I ordered the french dip sandwich which is my all time favorite food, and I rarely order it at restaurants because no one can beat my mom’s recipe. However, BRIXTON did an amazing job and this may have been the best french dip I have ever had! My sister ordered a bloody mary (which she said was fabulous) and a chicken avocado sandwich. To share we ordered sweet potato fries, which also were the best sweet potato fries I have ever had! I highly recommend going to this restaurant!! To check out the menu click here http://www.brixtonsf.com/.
After our amazing lunch I found a place I saw on dessertdarling.com It is called Pacific Puffs and it is a store run by two brothers who use their mom’s recipe of cream puffs. We ordered the chocolate mini cream puff and it was amazing! The brothers were in the store and they were incredibly friendly (and cute) which definitely made the experience even better. You can check out their web page here pacificpuffs.com Well that is all for now, I hope you enjoyed this post mainly on the marina district! Thanks Cait for hosting me in the fabulous city of San Fran! The rest of my day now is filled with homework and cleaning….so much fun….
This morning when I woke up I could feel fall in the air. Not only had the miserable hot temperature dropped, but there was a certain fall breeze blowing through my window. I immediately lit my macintosh Yankee Candle 🙂 and went downstairs to make a delicious breakfast for my family. I immediately knew I wanted to throw something quick together but add in a fall favorite….PUMPKIN. So I used some Bisquick mix to make a normal batch of pancakes and added in some canned pumpkin. It makes pancakes extra moist and I added some boysenberry syrum for a topping which really complimented the pumpkin taste…YUM. Now I am off to start my sunday adventures of business calculus homework and staying in my pajamas for a while:)
